Growing up, you would have definitely seen Blue’s Clues on Nickelodeon and you’ll remember the fun in pointing out Blue’s paw print to the show’s hosts, Steve or Joe.

Now, Nick Jr. has revived the iconic mystery-solving children’s series but it has adults taking a double take at the new host, Josh.
Filipino American actor, Joshua Dela Cruz was first announced to be taking up the reins as the Blue’s Clues & You host back in September 2018 but it wasn’t until recently that everyone started to take a second look at the new host.

In his trademarked striped sweater, Josh seems to be just like Steve and Joe in his mannerisms but trust the internet to take things a step further.
This time around, Twitter users put on their detective hats to find out more about this new host and what they found, got everyone talking and thirsting.
To put it in simple words, Josh is dreamy and “lowkey a total babe”.
Because of Twitter’s newly found thirst for Josh, he became a trending topic on the site.
Speaking to BuzzFeed he said that he was flattered by all the attention.
“From the little bits I’ve gathered, it’s positive,” he said. “It’s definitely flattering. It is a little weird only because you don’t think in your life you’ll ever get this kind of exposure.”
And exposure is definitely what Josh got.

While everyone seems to be thirsting over Josh, the new host noted that he’s just really excited for the new show to launch in November.
“I’m super pumped,” he said. “What’s crazier about this time around is when the show first came out there wasn’t any social media, and now we have a second audience because the kids who watched the show growing up have kids now.”
The last thing Josh expected was to trend on social media and become a “thirst trap.”
“I never, ever thought that I would trend on Twitter in any capacity,” he said.
“So thank you to everyone who’s keeping this story alive, and in my old age I’ll look back at the fond day that I was trending as a thirst trap on Twitter.”
Awww… He’s humble too!
And for all of you asking, Josh is happily married and recently celebrated his three-year anniversary.
