The 2026 winners are basically the top picks across major industries like finance, tech, FMCG, healthcare, telco, energy, professional services, and digital platforms.

They ranked the highest because they straight-up offer what grads really care about when job-hunting. Think things like career growth, the work you’ll actually be doing, work-life balance, pay + perks, brand rep, and overall company aura.

It’s run by students, fr!

It’s been 8 years and the GCA has quickly become the most extensive employer perception study within the graduate market.

For one, they’re 100% driven by student voices from over 100 unis nationwide, offering employers and policymakers direct tea on how Malaysia’s future workforce actually judges career vibes. And for students, they get what’s up when navigating career ops.

CEO Ben Ho highlighted that the results are a real reflection of what students think, meaning the winning companies have genuinely earned students’ trust, and it’s not just hype.

He emphasised that understanding what graduates want today isn’t optional anymore.

With the winners coming from a wide mix of industries, being a “top employer” has nothing to do with what sector it’s in—it comes down to how well employers are connecting with young talents.

Companies that align with these expectations are more likely to secure top talents in the future.
