Sometimes people tend to be stereotypical and identify to a group of people based on how they look like. And sometimes there are situations like this that are just hilarious!

A twitter thread recently went viral after this guy told a story of how a hipster got mad at an article the MIT Technology Review wrote and it’s hilarious!

this hipster got mad when his photo was used in an article about how hipsters look the same, turns out it’s not him!

The article was about a research on “the hipster effect” and how “the population of hipsters initially act randomly but then undergo a phase transition into a synchronized state.”

A guy apparently got mad about the article and accused the editors for using his photo and implying that he’s a hipster. And then it gets funnier and funnier!

While the hipster thought his photo was being used in the article about how all hipsters look the same and it turned out that it wasn’t actually him! The irony.

The internet found the whole ironic situation hilarious and honestly, we do too.
