In case you didn’t know, there’s been a live-action Tom & Jerry movie in development for some time now.

The iconic duo are back and this time their taking their never-ending fight to the big screen and to a hotel.
Starring Chloë Grace Moretz, the story sees Jerry the evasive mouse taking up residence in a posh New York hotel where Chloë’s character works. To get Jerry out of the hotel, she enlists the help of one persistent cat, Jerry, and of course, chaos ensues.
The plot reads:
“Kayla is a new employee at a posh hotel where Jerry takes up residence, threatening to ruin a glamorous wedding. She hires a broke alley cat named Tom to come in and get rid of Jerry, which proves to be easier said than done. That may be for the best, as the dup will likely need each other to defeat Kayla’s villainous boss, who isn’t a big fan of either one.”
Set to be released in March 2021, the first trailer of the movie has been gaining a lot of reactions from fans of all ages.
All over the Twitterverse, there are many mixed reactions with some fans loving the approach taken by the movie and some totally against it.

I’m optimistic. The animation and slapstick are on point however the pop songs and the plot (yes yes I know caring about the plot in a TOM AND JERRY movie) are keeping me a little hesitant. But hey its only 1 trailer. The film might be good, it might be bad. I’ll just wait andsee

This looks so much fun! Im a massive Tom & Jerry fan & watched the shorts all the time as a kid on Cartoon Network! I love the animation style reminds so much of their classic designs.
