One of the longest running and most well-known manga series is definitely One Piece, and the comic that’s been running for 22 years is coming to an end!

Creator Eiichiro Oda’s editor recently said that the series is predicted to end in five years which Eiichiro also mentioned in an interview earlier this year.

One Piece is currently in the Wano arc that’s heavily based on the samurais' history in Japan and will act as an integral to the storyline that will end the series.

The manga series follow the voyage of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who, inspired by his childhood idol and powerful pirate "Red Haired" Shanks, sets off on a journey from the East Blue Sea to find the famed treasure One Piece and proclaim himself the King of the Pirates!

Eiichiro Oda said that when he first started the manga series, he planned to end it in five years but has never stopped since.

The manga has been running for 22 years now and has inspired many memes related to the length of the series.
