Malaysians are good when it comes to food, and Kwen Liew from Ipoh proves the common belief right!

Kwen Liew was recently awarded a Michelin star in the 2018 Michelin Guide France for a restaurant in Paris that is co-owned by her and her husband, Ryunosuke Naito!
The restaurant, named Pertinence, was awarded the Michelin star just 7 months after it was opened, and Kwen Liew is believed to be the first female Malaysian to win a Michelin star!
We're proud of her! And we hope that more Malaysians get to achieve more on an international scale!
