Sometimes, no matter what exercise we do, it either gets boring really fast or we lose our motivation to keep going. But this guy kept his momentum going, and it’s all thanks to K-pop!

Twitter user, @wawanxz_ was determined to lose weight and decided to combine his love for K-pop and dance to help him achieve this feat.
Beginning in October 2018, Wawan first begin his weight loss journey at 154kg. Currently in May 2019, Wawan has lost almost 40kg and now weighs in at 118.1kg. That’s amazing!
All Wawan did for the past eight months was to schedule in daily dance sessions into his routine, and of course, the K-pop lover found inspiration from his icons.
He began his journey by following K-pop videos of his favourite artists, imitated the steps and added his own zest.

When Wawan uploaded his progress video onto Twitter, it went viral with many supporters praising him for his efforts and dancing skills.
He even threw some BLACKPINK into the mix to kill his workout!
Currently, Wawan has taken on a 30 Days Dance Challenge for Ramadan and he’s currently on day 12!

Besides dancing along to his favourite K-pop hits, Wawan also has some advice for those who wish to follow his routine (and no, it’s not just the dancing that helps).
He advises to cut down on sugar, eat more proteins than carbohydrates, and lastly, drink more water.
Cut sugar taken , kalau sehari nak gula , minum sekali je tapi sikit je kuantiti gulanya . Secondly , i take more protein over carbo . Nasi 1/4 pinggan je . Lastly , drink more plain water 😍
