During a recent video with British Vogue to promote her new luxury fashion house, Fenty; Rihanna turned many heads with the way she pronounced her own name.
In the beginning of the video, the singer introduces herself which sparked off some major debate on Twitter.

Hear that? The singer pronounces name as “REE-ANNA.” Have a listen again if you need to.
Now, obviously Rihanna would know how to pronounce her own name.
But the fact that she pronounces it “REE-ANNA” and not “REE-AH-NA” has left many people mind-blown. However a debate sparked when a good number of people said that they’ve always pronounced it the right way.
