If the first installment of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse wasn’t enough for you, then the sequel is going to keep you mind-blown for sure!
Producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord presented the first-ever footage of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at the opening night of CinemaCon in Las Vegas recently and they shared that the animated movie has 1,000 people working on it and it will feature 240 characters (the first film had 40) and it will take place in at least six universes!
According to Insider, it looks like fans are going to get a greater glimpse into the life of Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman.
In Across The Spider-Verse, there will also be a lot more interaction with other universes and that definitely opens up a lot more avenues and storylines!
The producers have also shared that they are committed to make the sequel even more powerful than the highly-acclaimed original.
In the same event, Christopher and Phil revealed the title for the sequel’s second part which is called Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse.
Across The Spider-Verse will be released in cinemas on June 2, 2023 while Beyond The Spider-Verse is scheduled for March 29, 2024.
