It’s always great to be with your family during your graduation and while there was a case of a student crying because his parents refused to come to his graduation, this student made the effort to bring his late mother to his graduation ceremony.

He explained that his mother passed away in 2016 from pneumonia complications and that he has always wanted to graduate with his mother by his side.
So he decided to specifically order a Styrofoam cutout that matches his mother’s height (around 157cm) and brought the cutout to honor his mother.

“I had that standee made so that I could at least feel my mum’s presence on graduation day because my graduation from college was our dream.”
He also revealed that his mother was a single parent for a few years, so he was very close to his mom and his mother didn’t ask his stepdad to send him to college. Instead his mom and his aunt helped pay for him to go to private school and college.

“When I brought it (the cutout) to my graduation, I was so happy because I really felt I was with my mum.”
We are definitely warmed by his actions and hope that he can continue to succeed in life and make his late mother proud!
