Once in a while, we come across some of the cutest things on the internet, but this puppy may just take the cake (or tail)!

Meet Narwhal, a 10-week-old puppy that was abandoned because of his unusual secondary tail that grows out of the middle of his forehead.

Abandoned as a puppy, Narwhal was taken in by an animal rescue center in Missouri, USA, called Mac’s Mission that predominantly cares for animals with special needs.
The staff at the rescue center named the puppy “Narwhal” after the toothed whale. They were told that there was “no medical need to remove” the extra tail as it does not cause the puppy any pain.

Speaking to ABC News, Mac Mission’s founder, Rochelle Steffen said that they had found the adorably light brown puppy at a dumpsite in rural Jackson, Missouri, where she said “hundreds” [of dogs] have been dumped.
“He had x-rays and a vet visit yesterday and is a perfectly healthy puppy, with an extra tail on his face,” Rochelle noted. “There is no medical need to remove it currently and it is a third the size of his actual tail.”
And in case you were wondering, no, Narwhal’s extra tail does not wag.
All over the Twitterverse, the internet is filled with love for the adorable puppy with the tail on his forehead.
Hello world! I’m narwhal! I was born with an extra tail on my forehead, although it doesn’t wag (at the moment) it seems to be my best feature. Click my follow button to keep up with my journey! 🦄 #unicornpuppy #NarwhalPuppy #rescuedog pic.twitter.com/vLscS42gZE
