One woman’s fear of the insect however has caused her husband to see a divorce from her.

A man from Bhopal, India is currently seeking to divorce his wife over her fear of cockroaches.
According to the man, the couple were forced to move houses 18 times in their three years of marriage over the woman’s fears of the insect.
OpIndia reported that the man who works as a software engineer, only found out about the woman’s intense phobia after they were married in 2017.

He only found out about the fear when his wife screamed for help after she spotted a cockroach in the kitchen in 2018.
“Apparently, the scream was so loud that it frightened the family members.”
After seeing the insect, the wife then insisted that the couple move to a new house.
The aggrieved husband shared that he had taken his wife to seek medical treatment many times but none of them worked as she refused to take the prescribed medication.
The couple tried counseling as well but nothing seemed to work to help them.
In the end, the husband felt like he had no choice but to divorce his wife.

Now this is a new extreme, for both the husband and wife.
