Negan fans rejoice! Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been talking about a possible Negan spin-off with The Walking Dead boss! Will they give it a go?

The actor's time on The Walking Dead started off with a literal smash. It has been filled with antagonism but season nine may offer his "Negan" character some redemption.
As reported by TV Guide, Jeffrey has been discussing the notion of Negan spin-off projects for a couple of years now, as the actor noted: "For two years I've talked to [Walking Dead chief content officer, Scott] Gimple about it."
"I know that they've talked about doing all sorts of other things, movies and whatever else. I don't know too much about it. I know it could be an exciting opportunity to tell that story," he added.
With 2016's standalone limited comic series, Here's Negan! out there, would Negan's fascinating backstory function as good material for a spin-off? We think so!
