JYP Entertainment confirmed reports that the group’s leader would be the first ITZY member to release solo music. The agency shared, “Yeji is preparing to become the first member of ITZY to make her solo debut.”

While fans are thrilled by the news, JYP Entertainment clarified that the timeline for her debut is still in the works. “The exact timing [of her solo debut] has not yet been decided. We will announce the concrete schedule at a later date.”
