The Powerpuff Girls are here to save the day and after months of waiting, we finally have the first looks on the highly anticipated live-action reboot!
Previously, it was revealed that a live-action reboot of the iconic Powerpuff Girls animated series was on the way but this time with the girls as “disillusioned twentysomethings”.
The series will star Chloe Bennet as Blossom, Dove Cameron as Bubbles and Yana Perrault as Buttercup and while fans have been waiting to see what the trio will look like in the new series, we now have the official first looks!

Simply titled Powerpuff, the series was first announced to be in development back in August.
The three actresses will be joined by Donald Faison as their father Professor Drake Utonium, Nicholas Podany as the villain Mojo Jojo named Joseph “Jojo” Mondel Jr., and Robyn Lively as Sara Bellum.
The live-action series will see the pint-sized heroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting but must now reunite to save the world once again.
Pictures of the set have also been circulating on social media and it sees the trio in their characters’ costumes. However, reports note that the Powerpuff Girls would only don their costumes in flashback scenes of their teenage years.
