Brooklyn Nine-Nine is coming to an end and fans everywhere were heartbroken to hear the sad news.

However, before it ends, fans only have one request, to have Jake Peralta meet his Die Hard idol, Bruce Willis.
Executive producer Dan Goor recently took to social media to announce that Brooklyn Nine-Nine is coming to an end with its eight and final season.
“Ending the show was a difficult decision, but ultimately, we felt it was the best way to honour the characters, the story and our viewers,” he said. “I know some people will be disappointed it’s ending so soon, but honestly, I’m grateful it lasted this long.”
“The way I see it, if this is to be our last ride then let us go out in a blaze of glory.”
As fans will know, Andy Samberg’s Jake Peralta is obsessed with his favourite movie franchise, Die Hard. And while we’ve seen many cameos over the seven seasons, fans have yet to see Bruce Willis making an appearance.
Andy has even discussed the matter previously on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show saying:
“My character is obsessed with Die Hard, so we’ve long said that getting Bruce Willis would be like a huge thing. I mean, I’ve appealed many times for this, I think maybe he’s like waiting for the end to surprise us and shock the world, or, he hates me. I love him.”
While fans are sad to know that the series is coming to an end, they’ve banded together to request for the Die Hard actor to meet his biggest fan.
