The story of the popular Demon Slayer, Kimetsu no Yaiba series is coming to a conclusion!

The finale was confirmed after the latest issue, chapter 204, was released on Shonen Jump and teased that the final chapter will take place in an unexpected time period.

The end of chapter 204 shows a modern-day city with texts confirming that chapter 205 will be the end of the manga.

The final chapter is reported to be 24 pages long and will get a special color page to celebrate the end of Tanjiro’s journey.

"As time passes by, what will become of the future in a world without demons?", reads the teaser for the final chapter.

Although the text indicates a world with no demons left, many fans believe that the modern-day Tokyo will house a new set of Demon Slayers or familiar ones that have aged.

Many fans believe that the demons are now lurking in the city, and hope that Shonen Jump will offer a potential sequel to the best-selling manga.

So if you’ve been reading the manga series, you might want to take it slow and savour it because you’ll only get one more chapter!
