680 Recovered From Coronavirus As Death Toll Hits 427

The deadly coronavirus is spreading fear worldwide after the World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared it a global health emergency.

The death toll of the new virus that’s temporarily named “2019-nCoV” increased to 427, but there are also patients that have recovered from the virus.

A total of 680 patients among the 20,659 cases worldwide have reportedly recovered from coronavirus.

Hospitals in China also discharged 475 recovered coronavirus patients by the end of February 2.

The death toll from the virus has exceeded that of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak back in 2002 and 2003.

A 41-year-old man from Selangor has also tested positive for the coronavirus after attending an international conference attended by delegates from China in Singapore.

There are currently 10 confirmed cases in Malaysia compromising 9 Chinese nationals and the Malaysian man.

The WHO released a video explaining what the virus is and how you can protect yourself from it.
