When it comes to taking official pictures, we tend to get extra nervous about how we look especially because the picture would be used for a couple of years.

Nurul Nabihah Aiman Asmadi who was in the process of renewing her driving licence, will unfortunately have a picture to mark the struggle of 2020 forever as her licence picture now comes equipped with a face mask!

As you can see in the renewed licence, Nabihah unfortunately still has her face mask resting on her chin in the picture and you can even see her bag’s strap as well!

Taking to the Twitterverse, Nabihah shared her unique and funny experience when renewing her licence during the RMCO period.

When Nabihah decided to renew her driving licence, she was not expecting to take a new picture as she was sure that her picture would be in the system and that she could just use the old picture for the licence.

Unfortunately, according to a JPJ officer, her picture was no longer in the system.

Cerita dia macam ni,,I nak sambung lesen. Pastu pegawai jpj dkt kaunter tu ckp, "gambar awak x de dalam sistem lagi ni,,ada bawak gambar putih?" i cakap la x bawak,,sbb biasanya scan gambar dari lesen lama je kann....

Nabihah was then told that she had to take her picture there and then, with no time to properly get herself picture ready!

Upon hearing what she had to do, she was surprised and panicked (we would have too, tbh).

In all the confusion, Nabihah forgot to take off her mask and her handbag that was slung over her shoulder!

Pastu dia suruh AMBIK GAMBAR DEKAT SITU JUGAK😭 I PUNYA LA KALUT + TERKEJUT SBB KENA SNAP GAMBAR KAT SITU. DAHLA PAKAI TUDUNG SARUNG JE. PASTU MASA AMBIK GAMBAR TU,MASK TAK BUANG PULAK TUU.....

If you’re wondering why the officer who was taking the picture didn’t tell Nabihah that her mask was still on her face, she wondered the same too!

Dengan tali beg galas masuk sekali haaaa😭 KENAPA PEGAWAI YG AMBIK GAMBAR TU TAK TEGUR DULU SURUH BUANG MASK😭😭😭😭 buruk dahh gambar lesen huaaaaaaaaa😭😭😭😭

It was only after another officer asked “awak tak buang mask he masa snap gambar?” that she realised her mask was still on her chin!

Nabihah however had the most perfect answer for the officer.

“Takpela encik,, buat kenangan lesen pkp”

Bila pegawai yang jaga dekat pintu tu (yg bagi lesen baru ) tanya "awak tak buang mask ke masa snap gambar?" Baru la I PERASAN YANG MASK ADA DEKAT DAGU MASA TU. I pun cakap dkt pegawai tu "takpela encik,,buat kenangan lesen pkp"...bila lagi nak buat lesen pakai mask" 🤧🤧

MCO memories indeed!

This is definitely a fun story that Nabihah will be able to tell her future generations when she reminisces about 2020 and the MCO!

But just a reminder if you’re about to renew or apply for an IC or driving licence, maybe it’ll be best to take a picture without a mask on…. (but put it back on after that because virus.)
