Many daily use items have been transformed into fashion statements over the years and the latest addition is no surprise, but the price sure is!

A zip tie bracelet series was recently released by a fashion brand and while the bracelets look nothing more than like a regular zip tie, it’s actually selling for RM1,875 ($463) per piece!

“Classic utilitarian found object reimagined as an original bracelet in new, matte coated, colors for AW 2020,” the description writes.

But of course it’s not actually made out of the same material as a normal zip tie. The website listed brass as the bracelet's material.

The AMBUSH Zip Tie Bracelet comes in various colours (blue, yellow, black, etc.) and two sizes (S, M).

The fashion brand also released a similar zip tie ring back in 2019 and a newer version is selling at RM1595 ($394) and RM1250 ($309) respectively.

But that’s not all, the brand also went viral previously after releasing their “penyepit baju” earring selling at RM1,630.
