Taiwanese Man Forced To Sell His PS5 After His Wife Found Out It's Not An Air Purifier

Gamers around the world are desperately trying to buy the newly released PlayStation 5 console due to limited stock at launch but one man was forced to sell his PS5 off instead.

A man in Taiwan was forced to sell off his PS5 after his wife discovered that the console is not an air purifier!

Like a real-life version of the previously viral Korean “Plash Speed” meme video showing a man trying to convince his wife that the PlayStation he got was an internet router, this man also tried to convince his wife the PS5 was an air purifier but failed miserably.

The incident was posted on Facebook after a man tried to buy a PS5 console from a reseller after he found a console selling at the cheapest price on the market and the seller sounded eager to sell it off.

It was when he met up with the reseller and asked him why he was selling the console off before finding out it was the seller’s wife that wanted him to sell the console.

The internet gave their moment of silence to the “fallen comrade”, with many saying it’s hard to trick anyone when the console is circulating so much online and others saying they thought of doing the same thing but it seems like a bad idea now.

When PlayStation first released the first look at the PS5 console, many people did comment on how it looks like an air purifier so we really can’t blame the man for where he got the idea from.

Do you know someone that would’ve tried the same trick? Share this with someone that thought about using a similar trick to get themselves a new PS5!
