Planning to stay out late this New Year’s Eve? Rapid KL has announced they are extending their operating hours for its rail and BRT services to ensure a hassle-free journey into 2025.

Rail & BRT Services Running Until 3:00 AM
The Kelana Jaya, Ampang/Sri Petaling, Kajang, Putrajaya, and KL Monorail lines will operate until 3:00 AM on January 1, 2025. Additionally, the Sunway BRT service will also run until the same time.
For convenience, only selected stations will remain open until 3:00 AM. These include
Kelana Jaya Line:
- Pasar Seni
- Masjid Jamek
- KLCC
- Ampang Park
- Ampang/Sri Petaling Line:
- Hang Tuah
- Masjid Jamek
- Maluri
- Bandaraya
Kajang Line:
- Pasar Seni
- Tun Razak Exchange (TRX)
- Bukit Bintang
- Maluri
- Mutiara Damansara
KL Monorail Line:
- Bukit Bintang
- Hang Tuah
Putrajaya Line:
- Tun Razak Exchange (TRX)
- Persiaran KLCC
- Ampang Park
Sunway BRT Line:
- Sunway Lagoon
- SunMed
- SunU-Monash
- South Quay-USJ 1
Passengers at other stations can only exit but will not be able to board as these stations will follow their regular closing times.
Extended Bus and DRT Services
For those commuting by bus or Demand-Responsive Transit (DRT), selected routes will operate until 3:30 AM, ensuring a smooth ride home after the festivities.
