The pre-sale, launched on May 27 at 3pm via Hong Leong Bank, saw thousands of fans glued to their devices. One fan, as reported by WeirdKaya, said she started queueing online at 3:30pm but ended up empty-handed, vowing to keep trying despite her frustration.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t alone. Almost immediately after tickets went live, scalpers swooped in and began reselling tickets originally priced at RM999 for RM4,000 — some even going as high as RM16,000 each on Xiaohongshu.

Screenshots circulating on social media show scalpers demanding an extra RM900 “non-negotiable” fee on top of inflated ticket prices. One scalper admitted using a “bypass” method to skip queues altogether and snag tickets instantly.

As this news spread, fans voiced outrage online, calling for better systems and stricter policies to prevent bots and scalpers from ruining the experience for genuine fans.

Despite the setback, many fans remain determined to find a way to see their idol live — but they hope future ticketing systems can prevent this kind of frustration from happening again.
