It’s all happening, Marvel fans… It looks like Emilia Clarke is officially a part of Marvel’s Secret Invasion!
The Game of Thrones star was spotted on set shooting for Marvel’s upcoming series, Secret Invasion in Leeds, United Kingdom recently.
Pictures of her from the sets have now been leaked, revealing the actress’ look from the upcoming project.
Emilia can be seen shooting along with the cast and crew such as MCU veteran Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders, who portrays Maria Hill, who were also spotted at the set.
A number of roads in Leeds city centre have reportedly been closed for the shoot while a set has been created at The Piece Hall, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Marvel has yet to confirm the role Emilia will be playing however, fans have been theorising that her character will be Abigail Brand, the commanding officer of S.W.O.R.D - a S.H.I.E.L.D spinoff that deals with defending the Earth from alien threats. How cool does that sound?!

Aside from the three actors, Secret Invasion‘s cast will also include Ben Mendelsohn, Carmen Ejogo, Killian Scott, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and Christopher McDonald.
Secret Invasion marks Emilia's return to the small screen since her breakthrough role in Game of Thrones. Emilia played Daenerys Targaryen, one of the protagonists in HBO's successful fantasy series for eight seasons from 2011-2019.
There’s currently no release date yet for Secret Invasion but worry not, Marvel fans. At least we know now that the series is in the making!
