Production for Season 4 of Bridgerton is officially underway, with Netflix treating fans to exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from a recent table read. Released on Christmas Day, these images highlight a mix of returning and fresh faces, including Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek, who will take center stage in the season’s upcoming love story.

Among the familiar cast members are Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Bridgerton, and Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton. The new season also introduces Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, joined by her on-screen daughters, played by Isabella Wei and Michelle Mao.

This season adapts Julia Quinn’s beloved novel An Offer from a Gentleman, presenting a Cinderella-inspired tale. The story follows Benedict Bridgerton as he falls for Sophie Baek, a maid with a mysterious past. Their romance is sparked at a masquerade ball hosted by Lady Violet Bridgerton, where Sophie’s disguised appearance leaves a lasting impression on Benedict.
Yerin Ha’s casting as Sophie Baek brings an exciting twist to the character, reimagining her through the lens of Ha’s Korean heritage. This thoughtful adaptation promises to add fresh depth to the cherished love story.
Though Netflix has yet to announce a release date for Season 4, fans can look forward to the signature blend of romance, drama, and societal intrigue that Bridgerton is known for. In the meantime, previous seasons and the spinoff series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story remain available for streaming on Netflix.
