This, after their 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Arsenal in this morning’s final.

The match had ended 1-1 after extra time.

PSG are now only the second club after Real Madrid in the Champions League era to successfully defend their title.

Liverpool have sacked head coach Arne Slot after just two seasons in charge. 

He had guided the Reds to the EPL title in his debut season but struggled during the just-concluded campaign, where the Anfield club finished fifth.

Outgoing Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is said to be the top contender to take over from Slot.
