National shuttlers have been warned not to threaten the BAM.

Performance Committee chairman Datuk Seri Lee Chong Wei says the governing body will not bow to pressure from any player…even those who’ve won major titles.

He also says that shuttlers should use the proper channels to raise any issues, adding that the BAM is always open to discussions. 

He said this in response to reports that some of our badminton players are considering leaving the national setup to turn professional, due to unhappiness with some of the association’s recent decisions.
