The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (or Space Apps) is a 48 hours global virtual hackathon event organised by NASA between October 2nd and 3rd, 2021 to inspire local communities to come together, think intensely, and create solutions to important problems. Every year thousands of individuals in cities around the world will work with NASA’s open source data to answer some of the most pressing challenges on Earth and in space. For the first time in 2021, the world’s largest global hackathon is being launched in Sarawak organised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Research (MESTR) in partnership Realfun Learning Centre. Participation for Space Apps Sarawak is free and open to the age group of 13 to 17 for junior category and age 18 and above for senior category.
