Kluang Accident Suspect Released On Bail

A youth accused of killing four people in a fatal road accident in Kluang, Johor last week has been released on police bail, while authorities wrap up their investigations. 

This, after his remand period ended yesterday.  

The 19-year-old first remanded on June 2nd while being detained on charges of dangerous driving.  

He was rearrested several days later, after authorities reclassified the case as murder.

Over 1,000 shopping malls nationwide will have recycling facilities by the end of this year.  

The Housing and Local Govt Ministry says it’s part of efforts to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.

It can also support the development of a circular economy – in which resources are reused, recycled, and kept in use for as long as possible to minimise waste.

MARA plans to appoint ex-military personnel as full-time wardens at all of its MRSMs starting next year.  

The MARA chairman said this, after studies noticed a sharp drop in bullying cases at MRSMs where such wardens were already employed.
