Cost Of Living Issues To Be Brought Up In Cabinet

The government is taking measures to manage any price increases, and to limit its impact on the rakyat. 

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the issue will be raised at this week’s Cabinet meeting amid feedback that gradual price increases are starting to affect traders.

The PM adds that the government will also continue monitoring the situation on the ground, to ensure that whatever policies being implemented are effective.

Enhanced security features for the Mykad and passports will be rolled out next month. 

The Home Ministry says a new system will also be launched for applications and submissions of citizenship information, which was approved under amendments to the Federal Constitution.

A 28-year-old woman, who was seen brandishing a knife at a music festival in KL over the weekend, has been charged with carrying an offensive weapon in public.

She’s also been ordered to undergo a psychiatric assessment.
