
The father and elder brother of the Ulu Tiram police station attacker have each been jailed for 30 years on terrorism-related charges.
The KL High Court issued the sentence after they both changed their pleas to guilty.
Meanwhile, the attacker’s mother was sentenced to four years jail, while two other siblings were released.
The attacker was shot dead after killing two police officers in the attack, back in May 2024.
Several of his family members were subsequently arrested for their alleged links to a militant group.

The Higher Education Ministry has introduced its Menu Kasih Siswa programme for university students.
It says RM26 million has been allocated for the programme, which aims to provide affordable meals for public university students.
Meanwhile, it urged private universities to work with the ministry to ensure their food prices are still affordable.
