Aston Villa have reached the Europa League final after a 4-0 home win over Nottingham Forest in the second-leg of their semifinal this morning.
Unai Emery’s side advance 4-1 on aggregate and will next face Freiburg, who overcame Braga 4-3 over both semifinal legs.
This will be Villa’s first appearance in a European final in 44 years.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are through to their first ever European final, beating Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 in the second-leg of their Conference League semifinal to come away 5-2 winners on aggregate.
They will next face Rayo Vallecano later this month.

Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde has been taken to hospital with a suspected concussion, after an alleged dressing room altercation with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni.
The incident comes just three days before Real’s potential La Liga title decider against Barcelona.
