Real Madrid's Win This Morning Was A Victory Against Racism

Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni has described this morning's Champions League knockout playoff win against Benfica as a victory against racism.

He was referring to the alleged abuse of teammate Vinicius Jr by a Benfica player in last week's first-leg match.

Tchouameni also praised Vinicius's confidence and composure on the pitch despite what happened.

Meanwhile, Real defender Raul Asencio has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering a suspected neck injury.

He collided with teammate Eduardo Camavinga, and was taken off the pitch wearing a neck brace.

Reports say he was merely sent to hospital as a precaution, and Real are optimistic that the injury isn't too serious.

Real beat Benfica 2-1 this morning, to reach the last-16 with a 3-1 aggregate win.
