FA Cup Semis: Leeds Must Be Wary Of Chelsea

The Leeds manager says his team must be wary of a resurgent Chelsea in tonight’s FA Cup semifinal.

He believes that Chelsea’s players will have something to prove, following the sacking of their boss Liam Rosenior.

Meanwhile interim Blues boss Calum McFarlane says Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer could be available after coming back from injury.

The winner will face Manchester City, who beat Southampton 2-1 to reach the final for a record fourth consecutive season.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot says it’s too soon to say if Mo Salah has played his last game for the Reds, after he limped off their EPL win over Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury.

This, as Salah previously announced that he is leaving Anfield at the end of the season.

Also in the Premier League, Arsenal posted their first win in three matches after beating Newcastle 1-0.

The Gunners return to the top of the table, 3 points ahead of Man City, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Tottenham defeated Wolves 1-0 but remain in the relegation zone.

It’s because 17th-placed West Ham won their match against Everton 2-1.

In Spain, Barcelona beat Getafe 2-0 to close in on the La Liga title.

Barca are now 11 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid with just 5 matches to go.

--

Lee Zii Jia says he did not feel overwhelmed by the situation, after he came on as the third singles player in Malaysia’s opening Thomas Cup match against England.

Zii Jia, who recently recovered from injury, won his game to give Malaysia a 3-2 victory.

They will face Finland tomorrow before finishing their Group B campaign against Japan.

Meanwhile our Uber Cup squad defeated Turkey 3-2, and will take on South Africa this evening.
