Pep Optimistic Over Haaland's Fitness

Man City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping that Erling Haaland’s injury is not too serious, after the striker missed this morning’s 1-0 win over Leeds.  

Haaland picked up a knock in training, and Guardiola is not sure when he can return to action.  

Separately, Guardiola has criticised the Leeds fans who were heared booing while the match was briefly paused to allow Muslim players to break their fast.  

He says such behavior should not happen.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot admits that Florian Wirtz remains an injury doubt for their mid-week Premier League match against Wolves.

This, after he missed this morning’s 5-2 win over West Ham due to a lingering back injury.

Arsenal will try to restore their 7-point Premier League lead when they host Chelsea early tomorrow morning.  

This, after 2nd placed Man City beat Leeds 1-0 to reduce the gap to 4 points.  

Bukayo Saka could be available for the Gunners following his recent injury issues, while Chelsea’s Wesley Fofana is suspected.

Man United will strengthen their bid for Champions League qualification, when they host Crystal Palace tonight.  

A win will see United go level on points with 3rd-placed Aston Villa, following their shock defeat to Wolves yesterday.
