
KTMB is offering 12,000 additional ETS train tickets for travel to JB in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke says the tickets will go on sale after midnight tonight.
KTMB is also introducing a new service for journeys between KL and Ipoh, which will add another 7,000 seats and tickets are still available.
As for Hari Raya train tickets, Loke says just under half of ETS seats are still on sale.

People in Selangor should expect hot and dry weather for the next 5 months.
According to MetMalaysia, the state is expected to see a 20-40% drop in rainfall until July.
It's due to a weak La Nina phenomenon, which is pushing rain clouds away to Indonesia and Australia.

In related news, the DPM says authorities will conduct cloud seeding in Johor, Kedah and Perak from tomorrow until Sunday.
It's due to prolonged hot weather and falling water levels at several dams in these states.

Police have completed their portion of the investigation into the Durian Tunggal shooting in Melaka, and they are now waiting for forensic reports from other agencies.
