Man City Stumble In Title Race

 

Man City’s EPL title hopes have suffered a blow, after they threw away a two-goal lead to settle for a 2-2 draw away to Tottenham.

The result leaves City six-points behind leaders Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Man United made it three wins in a row under Michael Carrick, beating Fulham 3-2 at Old Trafford.

Third-placed Aston Villa suffered a 1-0 defeat to Brentford.

While Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace played out a 1-1 draw.

Over in Spain, Kylian Mbappe netted an injury-time penalty as Real Madrid edged past Rayo Vallecano 2-1, to leave them within a point of leaders Barcelona.

Inter Milan have gone eight points clear at the top of the Serie A standings after a 2-0 win over Cremonese.

Back home, in Malaysian Super League action…JDT maintained their perfect run this season with a 5-0 thrashing of Immigration FC.

While second-placed Selangor had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Terengganu FC.

Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei has finished as the women’s singles runner-up at the Thailand Badminton Masters, after she was forced to retire due to fatigue during the final against Devika Sihag of India.

And, 22-year-old Carlos Alcaraz has won the Australian tennis Open with a four-sets victory over Novak Djokovic, to become the youngest men’s player ever to complete a career Grand Slam.
