Malam Anekaragam is one of the famous events organized by Persatuan Kebudayaan IndIa (PKI), University of Science Malaysia and this program has been successfully organized for the past 30 years. It's a charity-basement for events where the whole profit of the event will be channeled for welfare. In the previous years, Malam Anekaragam Festival was held in conjunction with performances of university students, dance competitions, and talent shows to provide a platform for the talents of students for the government and private educational institutions, and the public category as well as USM students. The program is open to various races so that they can learn about Indian traditions and strengthen ties with each other. The main motive of the Malam Anekaragam differs every year based on the target group of the year but the purpose yet remains the same to help people on welfare. The previous, Anekaragam, the profit had been channeled for medical assistance especially to individuals with hearing and vision problems. They hit 'Malaysia Book of Records' for 'The Most Number of Indian Cultural Performance Relay'. The judges for this events will be Ms Sunita Gogoi and Ms Sagitya Varma
