NRD: Only Use Your OWN MyKad For BUDI95

The purchase of all subsidized BUDI95 fuel must be conducted personally by the actual MyKad owner.  

The National Registration Department clarified that individuals may not use their family members Identification cards on their behalf.  

It's because the MyKad is an official document that cannot be used, held, or represented by any other individual.

The department also warned that doing so is an offence and can lead to legal action.  

This, after a man was reportedly arrested for allegedly using four different identity cards to purchase over 100 liters of RON95 petrol.

The use of CCTV cameras to curb street crime in KL is a good move!  

The state police chief explained that the move has proven effective, with snatch theft cases down by nearly 58% in the past year!  

Meanwhile, robbery cases also dropped by almost 21%.  

He explained to Sinar Harian that it's because high-quality recordings obtained from these cameras help serve as strong evidence in court.

According to Sinar Harian, the Federal Territories Minister says the decision was made due to safety concerns, especially for road users.
