Air quality in Serian, Sarawak continues to worsen. 

According to the Department of Environment, the area now has an API reading of 197…just four points short of the very unhealthy level.

A further eight areas in Sarawak, as well as Putrajaya and Kuala Selangor in the Peninsular, are also currently experiencing unhealthy air quality.

Meanwhile a further 53 localities nationwide are currently recording moderate air quality levels. 

Of these, Cheras in KL… Johan Setia, Shah Alam and Banting in Selangor…as well as Mukah in Sarawak are on the verge of breaching into the unhealthy mark.

Members of the public are urged to take the necessary precautions including avoiding strenuous outdoor activities, masking up when heading out, and staying hydrated.

You need to immediately report bullying cases, instead of merely recording the incident and sharing it on social media.

The Federal CID director says this will help the authorities respond to cases quickly, and prevent further harm to the victims.

He adds that when it comes to preventing bullying… we need to get over the concern about ‘minding other people’s business’ – explaining that there’s nothing wrong in taking an interest when it involves the well-being and safety of children.
