Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s love has gone through so many ups and downs, and seven months after their intimate wedding ceremony last December, they’ve decided to call it quits.
A rep for the 26-year-old singer said that, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Fans have been speculating about their rumoured breakup especially after Miley posted a photo of herself without her wedding ring.
Miley and Liam first met on the set of the 2010 movie The Last Song and their romance has sparked ever since.
The couple got engaged in 2012 before a rough break up a year later and the event inspired Miley to write one of her biggest hit songs, “Wrecking Ball”.
They then rekindled their love in 2016 and got engaged again, before revealing that they got married in a secret wedding ceremony in December 2018.
“I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique,” Miley Cyrus said earlier this year. “I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.”
