UFO and alien enthusiasts, if you’ve had people doubting your beliefs that extra terrestrial life exists, here comes the official proof you need to prove them all wrong.

Back in November 2004 and January 2015, three videos of “unidentified flying objects” aka UFOs were leaked by a private company and created much speculation amongst the public.

In a response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act, the Pentagon was prompted to confirm the videos’ authenticity in September 2019.

Now in April 2020, as most of the world is currently under lockdown, the Pentagon has declassified and officially released these three videos of the “unidentified aerial phenomena” after years and years of speculation.

“The Department of Defense has authorised the release of three unclassified Navy videos, one taken in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015, which have been circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017,” the statement read. “The U.S. Navy previously acknowledged that these videos circulating in the public domain were indeed Navy videos.”

Captured on Naval aircraft cameras with infrared targeting systems, the videos show black shapes floating and sometimes accelerating at incredible speeds against the wind.

Pilots of the aircrafts can be heard in the background, amazed and baffled at the sight in front of their eyes.

In one of the videos, the pilots are heard questioning what the unidentified object is, one believing that it’s a drone and another commenting that “there’s a whole fleet of them” even though we can only see one object in the video.

“My gosh. They’re going against the wind, the wind’s 120 knots to the west,” another pilot says in one of the videos before the UFO is seen rotating.

One of the pilots, Commander David Frevor told The New York Times in 2017 that “It accelerated like nothing I’ve ever seen.”

Back in January, the Pentagon stated that the briefing materials that it held about these videos were classified as top secret and if released, it would cause “exceptionally grave damage to the National Security of the United States.”

However, the Department of Defense (DoD) is now officially releasing the videos “in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos,” said Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough.

“After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorised release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena” the statement read.

“The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as ‘unidentified’,” the statemend concluded.

The confirmation and declassification of these videos is definitely opening up many eyes around the world. It may finally be safe (and true) to say that we are not alone in the universe.

So if you’ve always been a UFO and alien believer, here’s everything you need to prove those naysayers wrong!

In the meantime, we still only have Earth (so far), so be sure to keep playing your part by staying home to stop the spread of COVID-19.
