As we all know, the FMCO is set to begin tomorrow and we hope you’re ready for it.

Though we know that everyone will be playing their parts in being responsible and staying home to curb the spread of Covid-19, we know that there will be cases of emergencies where you’d have to go out to the doctor’s or to even buy groceries.

Here’s the SOPs on travelling during the FMCO.

According to Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, travelling during the FMCO will be strictly limited to only two pax per car.

Beginning 1st June, drivers will also be limited to a travelling distance of 10km from home, with the exception for medical trips or vaccination appointments.

For medical trips, two people plus the patient, are allowed per car.

The public will only be allowed to head out for necessities such as food and medical emergencies, and are not advised to go out after 8pm.

The Senior Minister also announced that all shopping malls will be closed during this time with the exception of premises in it such as F&B, groceries, supermarket, and convenience stores.

Hypermarkets will be allowed to operate but will be limited to sections involving F&B and daily necessities.

All eateries will also be allowed to open but are limited to takeaway, delivery and drivethru transactions only.

Be sure you’re up-to-date with all the SOPs during the coming FMCO. Check out the rest of the SOPs here.

Please stay home and do not leave unless it’s an absolute emergency.

Together we can fight the spread of Covid-19! Share this with your loved ones so they're aware of the SOPs too!
