If you have any flights to Singapore via Firefly from 1 December onwards, you’re gonna want to reconfirm your flight details with the airline because they will be suspending all flights to Singapore.

The airline recently posted a notice on its website saying that the flights will resume once the relevant authorities sort out regulatory issues.

According to a report by The Star, the plan was for Firefly to move to Seletar, a new RM335 million ($80 million) passenger terminal that opened on Monday (19 Nov) for scheduled commercial flights and business aviation involving passengers travelling on chartered business flights and private jets.

When Changi Airport Group announced the opening of Selentar Airport Terminal, they said that all turboprop operations at Changi would be moved there from 1 December. The new airport will also handle all scheduled turboprop flights in Singapore from that day.
Incase y’all are noobs like us, this is a turboprop aircraft.

At the moment, only Firefly operates turboprop flights to Changi, offering 20 flights per day to and from Subang, Ipoh, and Kuantan.

As per the airline’s notice, Firefly doesn’t yet know when exactly their flights to Singapore will be resumed as they are still awaiting approval from the authorities. Though, they will make arrangements for all their passengers affected by this issue.
A spokesman for Firefly told The Straits Times that they “will move to Selentar Airport for sure,” but “as to when that will happen, [they] are still in the midst of settling some issues internally and with [Changi Airport Group].”
