The Chilling Adventure of Sabrina just dropped and already we're thinking of ways a crossover with Riverdale could happen!
Previously we were told that there was "no connection" between the two worlds, but a little Easter egg in the shape of Ben the pizza delivery guy - who has popped up in odd places throughout Riverdale, hints at another possibility.
With both Sabrina and Riverdale originating from the Archie Comics, the chances of a crossover increases. What's more? The fictional town of Riverdale and Sabrina's home of Greendale are only separated by Sweetwater River! Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the shownrunner, already knows how it could happen.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly he said, "I would hate if there was no way possible for there ever to be a crossover.

"I think there'd be a great episode where the Riverdale kids hear about a haunted house in Greendale and try to break in and it's Sabrina's house. There's totally a universe where that happens," Roberto said.
He added, "Or now that we've got Sabrina and Riverdale, maybe there's a standalone Afterlife movie or something that we can do combining both casts."

And if you're worried that a crossover might never happen, Roberto assures that he's serious about the idea.
"Rules are made to be broken and I'd hate for [a crossover] to never happen," he said.

Kiernan Shipka, who takes on the role of Sabrina, is also super excited about the idea of a crossover.
"As far as the universes being shared, Riverdale is technically the town over and it's not something that's touched on a ton in the show - but it is referenced a few times in little comments," she said.
"As a Riverdale fan myself, I always get excited about the possibility of something more. But who knows?," she added.
