Sometimes you might hear people saying that they are too old to continue their studies but this Malaysian grandpa just proved everyone wrong!
This 87-year-old grandfather is the definition of “it’s never too late to learn” because he recently graduated with his degree in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language)!
His granddaughter tweeted a photo of her grandfather on his convocation day and it’s truly inspiring!
The caption reads, “My grandpa got a bachelor’s degree in TESL at the age of 87 years old. He didn’t even want to come to his convocation day, but everyone persuaded him.”
She also said that her grandfather just loves to learn and kept doing it, and that he didn’t really care about the degree.
Many netizens were inspired by the grandpa and praised him for having the energy to finish the degree at his age.
