We can’t decide which one we’re more excited for!

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or more widely known as E3, is a yearly showcase for the world’s most popular video games.

Gamers and game journalists alike look forward to their online streamed press conferences, trailers, and juicy upcoming game info.

But sometimes something happens and it becomes so popular, it becomes a source of an internet meme, or a pop culture sensation.

Like former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime saying "My body is ready” at a Wii Fit Demo in 2007.

This year, we’ll reveal the 5 most talked about moments that happened during this year’s E3.

KEANU REEVES

The crowd at the Xbox Press Conference this year understandably lost their sh*t when the new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer revealed a cameo by Keanu Reeves.

But the crowd also lost their marbles in the process when Keanu Reeves himself walked in front of the stage to talk about the game.

Shout out to the guy who shouted “YOU’RE BREATHTAKING!” at Reeves in the middle of his talk. It was clearly a highlight of this year’s E3.

YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Bethesda, the company behind popular games like Skyrim and Fallout, confronted their fans at their own press conference about the heavily criticized game “Fallout 76”.

However, there were various moments that topped their humble and apologetic showcase, and it mostly consisted of this one guy being SUPER enthusiastic.

It’s become such a talked about sequence that a Youtube compilation video was made (seen above).

IKUMI NAKAMURA

Tango Gameworks creative director Ikumi Nakamura is a breath of fresh air!

Not everyone is as earnest and joyful as her on the E3 stage.

“Such a big stage! Makes me nervous,” she starts, and then continues to make us fall in love with her as she builds up the story behind “Ghostwire Tokyo”.

“We are making a new kind of action adventure game… it’s spooky!” Nakamura exclaims.

The video trailer itself is also a pretty big highlight. It looks really good, and it is everything she promises.

COOL ASSASSIN GRANDMA

In the press conference by Ubisoft, there were a few cool new game reveals to look out for. But none of them compared to the showcase for “Watch Dogs: Legion”.

In this game, ANYONE you see throughout the game is a playable character. Set in dystopian London, you can have your pick of any residents walking around, and they may or may not have special skills and traits that could help with your goal!

This includes the cool granny we see in the gameplay. She’s a retired police engineer, owns multiple cats, and is a gun slinging hacker.

BOWSER/BOWSER

Long time Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime retired earlier this year, making way for new President Doug Bowser to take over.

Bowser shares his name with the fictional antagonist from the Mario video games, a staple for Nintendo fans.

In this year’s Nintendo Direct at E3, Doug Bowser and the big turtle delivered a charming gag confusing the two Bowsers.

The cartoon Bowser even put on a cute little tie!

Did you watch the E3 streams online, too? Which were your favourite moments?
