For those who grew up with the Bandicoot in their lives can now enjoy a second wind of the beloved childhood video game as it’s now available on mobile!

However, there’s a catch. For now, the mobile game is only available on Android and reportedly only available in Malaysia. Yay for us!

According to CNet, “Crash Bandicoot mobile has launched in Malaysia, presumably as a beta test of sorts that’ll precede a global rollout.”

“It’s an endless runner game, where you essentially see how far you can get without losing your lives to obstacles, Nitro crates and boss battles,” the publication reported.

From what can be seen so far, the game will have players running automatically, tapping the screen to perform Crash’s spin attack, and swiping up and down to jump and slide respectively.

As for levels, according to the Google Play Store, players will be able to go through the Turtle Woods, Lost City and Temple Ruins once again and each level will have hidden paths for players to explore and take advantage of.

One of the differences of the mobile game however is that players will also collect items for Coco Bandicoot’s base of operations and ingredients to create bombs and ray guns, so that they’ll be able to defeat the boss or enemy by creating a serum or weapon.

We know what we’ll be doing for the next two weeks while we stay home… What about you?
