No, not directly from the sun, but a new solar charging panel cap has been created where you can get energy from the sun and charge your phone directly from it!
Now if you’re wondering, wouldn’t the battery be dangerous and possibly explode under the hot sun? Well, there’s no battery in it! All you have to do is plug in to the USB port on the edge of the hat.
The caps come in different colours and does not emit any electromagnetic radiation. No carbon footprint!
But while it’s the perfect cap to be under the Malaysian sun, it will not charge as fast as your usual phone charger.
The cap is a little pricey, displaying at RM234 ($56) on their website, so maybe just have your phone fully charged before you leave your house!
