Post Malone's private plane has successfully made an emergency landing at Stewart Airport in New York after its 2 tires blew out during takeoff.

The 23 year old 'Rockstar' rapper was headed to London after performing at yesterday's 2018 MTV VMAs when the incident took place.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released a statement after the landing: "A Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV aircraft landed safely at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, NY, about 3:50 p.m. today. The aircraft was towed to the ramp." The FAA added that it will be investigating the incident.

Post Malone posted on Twitter after the safe landing:

The jet carrying 16 people took off from Teterboro Airport near New York City just before 11 a.m. when the pilot reported experiencing trouble.

Footage  on social media shows the rapper safely evacuating the plane and talking with first responders at the airport.

We're extremely thankful that this Rockstar is safe and better now!
